kimbo2

this is the second take of the pic with Kimbo and his goons. The chicks kinda ruin the bro-ness of the picture. I mean really, does insert random bitch , on right know anything about these dudes besides they are paying her for having a body. Does she care? Probably not. However, I wanted a pic with Kimbo and his squad, not the random chicks who will probably get stuck
later. You look at this pic and testosterone testosterone and boom 2 smiling half naked chicks on the way to the pool?? Hell nah! The only way this would be acceptable is if these girls had weapons or had the carcass of whatever they had just killed. By the way, I know I sound like a complete moron but cmon, is anyone getting their pic taken with them really gonna bang the stripper anyway?

limited

we took this big ass wooden boat around and ate on it the other night. lamb wrapped in potato?yes, it was great. It was the craziest ordeal trying to get there in the first place. None of the taxi drivers here know how to get anywhere except the mall and the airport. This guy tried to drop us off at an empty courthouse nowhere near where we needed to go! Once we finally got to where we were going, late, we had to figure out which boat was ours. There was a mile of boats and we didn't know our boat name. We started from the 2nd boat and ran asked all the captains of the boats all the way to the last. At this point we were 30 min late and 600 dirhums deep so it was crunch time. The captain of the last boat told us where we should be which was the first boat all the way at the first. It was the first boat and the only boat we didnt check. Unbelievable. My dad an i took off towards the other side(he runs like a girl) and just barely made it. because of the heat, my button up was completely soaked though. We all looked like we had been through it. The food was great, the sites were great, and the much needed breeze was a godsend.
I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything.

really?

I woke up at 6 this morning and already 100 degrees here. I didn't even bother packing my board because I thought there was nothing to skate whatsoever.
However, I came across this gem

Dubai's Top Five Skate Spots By: bxt3 - 16 Dec 2007
Rating: 4.1563 votes

Keywords: Dubai, skateboarding, sport, extreme

Hayya! Springs Skatepark (Dubai)
Roll on out to the 'burbs' for a taste of the opulent 'skatebrat' lifestyle. Grinding along curved ledges under desert palms, take in the futuristic cityscape of Dubai while poppin' airs off the half-pipe. Afterwards, dip a sweaty toe in the pool and soak your aching bones in the Jacuzzi, smoothie in hand - All for 15 Dirham.

Mamzar Bowl (Dubai)
From the deck of this monster blue bowl on the shores of the Persian Gulf, soak-up the emerald spaces of Al Mamzar Beach Park. With the white sand towards the sea, the green desert grass in-between and the azure transitions under your urethane, you're headed for a Dubai high. Lest you forget you're in the Middle East, Wednesday is for ladies only.

Al Nasr Cinema Handrail (Dubai)
Hit the rail where hometown skate heroes like Colm Noonan, Chef Spanky and Mark Issa bust out the big guns between X-Game runs. Ollie the seven stairs and slide the handrail featured as spot number one in the Dubai Desert Extreme Skateboarding Championships.

Sparks Gap Diera (Dubai)
With a fat gap for ollie and flip-trick pleasure, a corner and three-stair marble ledges for grinding delights, this spot - not far from Dubai Festival City - is a good place to sample the street fare Dubai has to offer while meeting up with in-the know locals.

Diera Fountain (Dubai)
Just a five minute skate away from Sparks you'll find a palatial fountain where skate inspiration springs eternal. The marbled flat ground, hefty manual pads, chunky set of three stairs and ledges for all skills levels will have you styling and smiling.

dubai

I'm sitting in an airport in Atlanta on a long layover on my way to Dubai.

One thing I noticed was strange when I got off the plane was Outkast was playing over the intercom. I'm into it.

I don't have a clue what Dubai will be like I have only seen pictures. Most of them make it look like some sort of majestic place. There's some sort of religious holiday there for the whole month of September so arms and legs are expected to be covered as well as eating or drinking in public during the day is strongly discouraged. hmm

I got all these from this website: http://www.dubai-architecture.info/DUB-GAL1.htm

go to it, it's nuts..

kimbo slice

I was walking through ASR just minding my own not really paying attention to anyone when BOOM, Kimbo Slice comes walking down one of the aisles. He's huge, and has an even bigger entourage. Everyone just cleared out of the way like he was Moses or something. I don't know what was going through my mind in this pic but it's obviously not the same thing that's going through Kyle's. Look at him, smiling like he just got his license. I on the other hand, look like I just pooped myself.

ron burgundy

I'm in San Diego with Kyle for the trade show, it's been interesting...
1)The night before we left, I was informed we are staying in a hostel, not hotel. There's no air conditioning.
2)We saw a woman who had pee-ed her white capris ankle to ankle
3)There's a homeless paraplegic ventriloquist roaming the streets
4)I've seen about 10 people peeing in the open on the streets in the past 24 hours
5)More than one person has stood next to me at a crosswalk out of their minds on speed and talking to themselves about it.

I have pics of absolutely none of this because I'm lazy and left my camera in the broom closet/room
