we took this big ass wooden boat around and ate on it the other night. lamb wrapped in potato?yes, it was great. It was the craziest ordeal trying to get there in the first place. None of the taxi drivers here know how to get anywhere except the mall and the airport. This guy tried to drop us off at an empty courthouse nowhere near where we needed to go! Once we finally got to where we were going, late, we had to figure out which boat was ours. There was a mile of boats and we didn't know our boat name. We started from the 2nd boat and ran asked all the captains of the boats all the way to the last. At this point we were 30 min late and 600 dirhums deep so it was crunch time. The captain of the last boat told us where we should be which was the first boat all the way at the first. It was the first boat and the only boat we didnt check. Unbelievable. My dad an i took off towards the other side(he runs like a girl) and just barely made it. because of the heat, my button up was completely soaked though. We all looked like we had been through it. The food was great, the sites were great, and the much needed breeze was a godsend.

I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything.

I'm sitting in an airport in Atlanta on a long layover on my way to Dubai.

One thing I noticed was strange when I got off the plane was Outkast was playing over the intercom. I'm into it.

I don't have a clue what Dubai will be like I have only seen pictures. Most of them make it look like some sort of majestic place. There's some sort of religious holiday there for the whole month of September so arms and legs are expected to be covered as well as eating or drinking in public during the day is strongly discouraged. hmm

I was walking through ASR just minding my own not really paying attention to anyone when BOOM, Kimbo Slice comes walking down one of the aisles. He's huge, and has an even bigger entourage. Everyone just cleared out of the way like he was Moses or something. I don't know what was going through my mind in this pic but it's obviously not the same thing that's going through Kyle's. I'm in San Diego with Kyle for the trade show, it's been interesting...
1)The night before we left, I was informed we are staying in a hostel, not hotel. There's no air conditioning.
2)We saw a woman who had pee-ed her white capris ankle to ankle
3)There's a homeless paraplegic ventriloquist roaming the streets
4)I've seen about 10 people peeing in the open on the streets in the past 24 hours
5)More than one person has stood next to me at a crosswalk out of their minds on speed and talking to themselves about it.

I took my midterm and got a 79. I should also throw in I had most of the answers already, yet somehow managed to barely pass. I'm an exceptional student.
Street Skating Kyle is over and has a poor wittle tummy ache so I'm abandoning my living room shortly.
Here's a couple of pics from Ireland a few years back. I went to Belfast with 6th Ave to put on a contest to help raise money for a conrete park. Evidently, they had a wooden one before hand, but it was burned to the ground by a local drunk that didn't like skating. The kids over there were gnarly, real gnarly. For starters, they pay double for skate product. Second,most of them ride the most busted setups, wheels all falling off and shit. Third, they don't listen to cops, in fact they try to fight most of them. Fourth, citizens kick you out of spots, citizens...

This was 2nd try. The first one almost got my ass kicked by a rather large cop who looked like he could have been named Nigel or Brick. When he noticed I took a pic of his car, he came down a one way street in reverse and proceeded to tell me ,"You shouldn't have done that boy" while being 6 inches from my face and looking me dead in the eye. Evidently the police have a problem with gangs such as the IRA killing all their officers. If I would have had an irish accent, I would have definitely landed myself in some shit.

The bloods and crips don't have shit on these dudes. We found ourselves in the middle of some sort of IRA march. Yeah, these guys are old as shit, but the fact they just closed down a road without notice is ill. That cop is only providing an illusion of safety. On many walls, huge murals were painted of dudes holding huge weapons with some sort of hate/pride filled message underneath.

Jordan is a handrail champ. The locals had some weird name weird name for this spot like "the godmother" or something similar. Jordan's one of the only people to be able to pull anything on this. He also feebled it.

This kid tried to caveman boardslide same rail and took it real hard, hard enough to split his nutsack. An ambulance came and hours later he showed back up with 7 stitches in his elbow and 14 in his sack, smiling. damn.

This is the citizen I spoke of. This soccer hooligan came down from his place and kicked us out of the courtyard below. Taking a picture or 3 of him evidentally infuriated him to the extent that he rounded up some hooligans and met us at the next spot we went to. rad.
